space, "They [USA] were calling for the respect of the Geneva convention when it served their purpose. Yet they show no respect at all for the same convention wiith regards to the prisoners at Guantanamo" The prisoners at Gitmo are terrorists, not soldiers. They wore no uniforms and fought for el-Qaeda, not a sovereign country. By any international convention they are regarded as murderers. Aside from the fact that they are being confined the treatment they are receiving is the best. Their religious practices are respected, their allowed to send and receive mail, they eat well and they are getting better medical care than they had in their own countries.
