The evidence is overwhelming that Saddam had a program of wmd.

I keep hearing about this "overwhelming evidence" from certain sources 1)Bush supporters on SI, 2)FOX news, 3)any column Bill Kristal writes.

But nowhere else. In fact, just last night on abcnews there was a story about how "bush is under fire for lack of WMDs", so it is clear that in the mainstream news sense, either this damning evidence that FOX claims is there isn't there, or is not corroborated.

Prior to the war I kept hearing about this underground weapons facility, this was a company-like complex that existed in what was once a subway system under iraq. THAT was obviously an urban myth because something of that magnitude would have been discovered immediately. This is the kind of thing people were expecting the US to find. The Bush administration set this scenario up after all with Powell's speech to the UN.
