Face facts!

Truth, like surgery, hurts like gangbusters!!! But it also heals.

Seems to me the capability of the US to manufacture and manipulate evidence for its own sake has escaped you completely. Says a lot about your education, doesn't it?

I am not a hater of Americans. Rather, I like to point out their shortcomings and wrongheadedness. Some of my remarks about Americans also apply to Canadians in general
because the Canadian education system is, by and large, a USA clone. Mind you, many Canadian educators regularly head south to attend seminars presenting new-fangled notions of education.

In spite of so much money being expended on education in both the US and Canada, the results are disappointing. Why? Largely because N. America is a fast-food and fun-oriented society and folks gorge themselves to death rather than do something to expand heir consciousness. As an indication of this, Diabetes, particularly Type II Diabetes is now exploding in N. American society like never before, even among the young! These days you can see lots of beer-bellied and pudgy folks almost everywhere. Their bellies are expanding but not their minds!

In Canada, a lot of money is spent on sports education and training for international competition. Yet the results have been only mediocre at best. So much hype, so much hullaballoo and hoopla----- and so much disappointment in the end! What a joke! <G>

PS. By the way, physical education is so important in schools these days that phys ed. is a requisite for graduation from high school. Despite the tremendous emphasis placed on sports, the performance of Canadian athletes have been largely disappointing.
