It's one result of the threat to Bushonians termed the "mosaic" theory of classified information, where one fact when put together with others highlights suspicious circumstances and requires further explanation.
That is that the level of deception is so huge and the internet so pervasive, if any scrap of evidence surfaces a la 'Project Northwoods', it will cause containment problems.
Therefore it is important for the criminals to destroy any possible items that may even remotely contain reference to culpability of Bin Laden/CIA, Rumsfeld/Hussein, Senior Bush/Everybody, etc. etc., even if it means burning down entire ministries abroad, breaking domestic FOIA laws, concealing Clinton-era and Reagan-era records, concealing W's years in Texas governorship.
It's also the reason Bush Senior was caught on CSPAN this past November 2nd saying he would give "no more interviews", which is the literal truth for he, Junior and Cheney, all of whom are deeply involved enough to be unable to hide involuntary evidence of their culpability if the "wrong questions" are asked. |
