It goes back to waht I said earlier about the Presidency, but applies to most other political offices.

Anybody who will do what it takes to get the offices shouldn't be in them.

Under our present system of govenment, you can't get into those offices unless you are capable of high quality spin.

Basically, democracy is an unstable form of government. Ours is starting to fray after only 200 years. It's certainly not on its last legs, but the beginning of the end is clearly in sight.
