What "vaults"?

ALL ARTIFACTS in the museum were stolen. As in, in main halls. On display.

That is a blatant lie, and you (hopefully) know it.

Do you have any reason to believe THAT?

No, the museums were intact before the invasion of Iraq. If you recall, there were warnings to the US/UK forces on the locations of the museums so that they would not be targets to the aerial bombing. I personally saw an interview with the curator of the museum the day before the invasion started, where he was showing the full house of thousands of years of articles and pleading that Americans not target the museum.

So, in short, it is just not true that:
(1) Museums were looted before the US/UK invasion of Iraq
(2) US/UK couldn't have done anything about it
