However, since you seemed anxious to verify this announcement, here it is: Cyrix cuts MMX-enabled chip prices RICHARDSON, Texas, Aug 1 (Reuter) - Cyrix Corp said on Friday that it has cut prices on its MMX-enabled 6x86MX processor line for personal computers. Cyrix said the price cuts are part of its plan to provide the highest level of processor performance for sub-$1,500 desktop personal computers.
