> So iranians cant learn arabic but americans and brits can?
Nope! Try as you might, you will not succeed. Firstly, Arabic contains too many sounds which unless you develop vocal cords for in childhood you will not manage to fully vocalize. For example, there are 4 kinds of "Z", 3 kinds of "S", 3 kinds of "H", and a host of other sounds for which there is not even a remotely sounding similar letter in western alphabet (not just English). Add to this, the fact that when you learn Arabic, you are learning the proper form of it. But proper Arabic is so difficult that although highly desired, nobody not even the best Arab leaders, can speak it properly. Even if you could, the street dialect is very different. This is not the difference between say Texas and British accent. It is more along the lines of difference between Latin and Greek.
I am going to give you another taste for the difficulties. I spoke with an Iraqi Shia who used to live in Karbala (he's been out of Iraq for 30 years). He told me how he used to laugh at Iranian pilgrims trying to recite Arabic prayers. One such prayer talks about the time Allah resurrects Hussein (yes the hero from the dead will be resurrected in this world to seek justice). By mispronouncing the "S" in one of the words, the Iranians were praying (in local slang) for the day that Allah finger f**k Hussein. As you can see, Berlitz will not help you here.
