One more thing that folks may find interesting about the Stock Basket account at E-Trade. Basically, you are creating your own mutual fund, or taking one of theirs, and customizing it. Only cost is 125 a year. No excess administrative costs like regular mutual funds. Additionally, you are basically payiong only $125 a year for unlimited trading. I can go in everyday, and add a stock, remove a stock, change the % of a stock and etc, etc, etc....unlimited, cost free trading..no commissions to add or remove stocks, change %'s and etc....Thinking about it, I may transfer all my trading accounts to e-trades stock baskets.....if I have 2000 shares of rfmd and 500 dell and 500 KKD and 1000 INTC and etc, etc.....I can set them up in one basket or 10 baskets and go in and trade daily if I like, without any cost, other then the initial $125 fee to set up the account. Hmmm...still interested to hear opinions on my earlier post. Too many stocks? Some dogs that need removed? Some gems I need to add. Pare down the baskets to a smaller amount of stocks? All opinions welcome and thanks again....
