Ouch!!!!

Sold the July 30 puts Friday, and shorted some shares at 27.37 today. Will put a buy stop at 27.80, just above thursday's high.

I thought we would get more of a retrenchment then 26.9, where i could hedge my Sep puts with some calls, but who knows. Deeply underwater on those Sep puts.

Reading lot's of different outlooks on the market. Most seem to agree that we are still in a bear market, even though the 200DMA has turned up. The question is when the next selloff starts. This week? Next? After a summer rally?

Does the wisdom of "sell in May and go away" stil hold true?
