Who could Israel make peace with? That is a very lame excuse. The same can be used for Sharon - the guy who continued building settlements into Palestinian territories and hence obviously has no interest in letting Palestinians have those lands. And it would be a lame excuse there, as well. The fact of the matter is that when dealing with a country, you do not have the luxury of choosing their representative.
