What is there to say about the market? It's had a great move in the past 7 weeks, with many stocks up 20% to 40% . . some better. If you bought when the big boys started buying you are doing well. When you miss the early entry the games a lot tougher.

"This thread is too quiet" because most of the frequent former posters on these boards have learned the tough lesson that day and swing trading is easy in a bull move but really tough in a bear move. The public has left the market. While many of the former posters on these boards used to ridicule the public what they failed to realize was they were part of the public.

They thought that since they had read a lot of books, learned all the technical jargon and had made money in the big bull move, that they were experts. They weren't and many of them have since learned that by reading what purported experts think, working hard and studying the market for 12 to 16 hours a day is one vocation in which all that effort can go unrewarded. They finally gave up and have gone on to other more rewarding endeavors.

The smart one's will wait until the next big bull move occurs and they'll be well prepared to make a lot of money during that period. That's when they will find out that all the time and effort that they have spent trying to learn the markets wasn't the waste of time that they've thought it was.
