OT: You're probably right. It's a manic/depressive market with an emphasis on manic behavior today despite the recent bout of profit taking which may have been due to some extremely low put to call numbers earlier today:

The simple fact that both the DJIA and the NASDAQ broke through some tough resistance today may indicate additional upside ahead.

I don't know. These are new comments from Briefing.com:

Nasdaq favors the flatline -- Technical --
Index topped out at 1482 this morning which matches well with resistance identified in the 9:27 ET comment. With the index now favoring the flatline, the intraday technical levels remain the same. Look for initial resistance in the vicinity of 1468, followed by subsequent overhead in the range of 1479 to 1481. To the downside, the index faces initial support at 1461, followed by an additional floor at 1449 to 1452. For a more detailed account of the current technical outlook please click here.

Dow extends pullback -- Technical --
The breach of the month long range top (8520/8526) proved short lived with the index recently approaching a minor support in the 8440/8435 before bouncing. Intraday need to see sustained follow through beyond the 8480 and 8500 barriers to improve the very short term pattern. Next supports, if the weakness persists, are at 8425 (50% of surge off Friday's low) and 8410/8400.
