ben, we'll see how the numbers work out. i agree more supply equals a lower price unless opec fixes the price and iraq follows opec. i just don't think it will be that drastic. i could be wrong.

this war was not as simple as "a pre-emptive attack." there is nothing in this administration that says they support that simple approach. if that were the case, we'd be fighting nearly everyone. but we don't.

iraq had a unique history and failed to work with the world for about 12 years. not 1 year. not 2 years. not 3 years... you get the idea.

now, if they go and start attacking other countries that pose a threat but have taken no proven direct action (syria or north korea) then i'll admit to being wrong.

until then, though, you are merely speculating - and doing so in the most negative light possible, imho.

ps - what are your thoughts on the documented al queda link?

pss - what are your thoughts on france giving away confidential US information re: the war to iraq?
