Sampat,
I understand that msft will switch to a x86 cpu running windows-ce
in a revamped webTV.Will they use the C6 in the new webTV?

Is the C6 a prime canidate for use in other set top boxes?
Is the set top box market close at hand?

NSM wants cyrix for there sytems on a chip technology.
This must mean NSM thinks that no cpu name set top boxes
are going to be big.

SGS-Thompson also now has x86 with very advanced systems on a
chip features.....

MSFT and ATHM sure do think so

Down the road I see a C6 type of cpu in digital TV's running
some form of windows with a transparent internet connection
via cable modem.I really doubt this hybred digital TV/computer
will say Intel Inside. The cpu will just be another commodity
component.
