As such, if you include the cost of stock options expense on the income statement, then they will be forced to lower their employee expenses by going overseas to hire employees. Very interesting. Don't you remember this was my point- those US based tech companies that currently have large R&D will go offshore- we already have one company that did this (oracle) because they didn't want to give out options basically (that is my opinion as to why Oracle went offshore with R&D). There is good and bad about offshoring R&D so hopefully there will be some intelligent conversations about this and not just emotionalism on both sides.
