As long as men and women differ, and care about the difference, there will be interest in defining their unique strengths. Since I do not agree with the premise that men are much different now, I am not sure what to say to either of you. Some changes are beneficial, some are not, but most people still exhibit strong sex- role bias. Even in college, many more women get degrees in sociology or the social sciences than in engineering or hard science; men are still much more likely to go into professions like firefighting, policing, or the military; and women are much more likely to go into family law than men. Women are over- represented in fields like human resources, marketing, fundraising, and public relations, and under- represented in fields like finance, research, industrial management, and politics.
