Now you've got it. UFers still deny that UF was responsible for ending the rivalry with UM...short memories, I suppose....what do you think, Bill? :) I recall UF wanting to get more national exposure than UM could offer, and replacing them on the next schedule the next season with Div. I-aa Ga. Southern, even closer to Gainesville than Miami....and people say UM plays easy schedules....guess it wouldn't be that way if teams like UF and Notre Dame were willing to continue playing when they were no longer winning more than half of the time...not like they wouldn't have been the likely winners the last few years anyway....or so it might appear.
Back to RAIN.....what is making you consider selling at this time? Do you have something better at the moment in mind, or do you think their long-term outlook has changed in some way?
Something else of interest for our CEO.. merc.com ... for a brief....involved announcement from GND about Berman, Taube, and Sell, all members of GND board, resigning from board of TOWV to avoid conflicts of interest regarding a restructuring proposal, etc.
