"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."--Teddy Roosevelt, 1918
moe,
Did you even bother to read anything that I provided for your education? You seem to really go out of your way to remain uniformed and childlike. Why? What possible advantage is there for you to bury your head in the sand and blindly follow a criminal like George Bush into perdition?
You remind me of this scary passage:
"Sadly, American history is rife with people boasting of patriotism while missing the point. In the early 1950s, Madison's Capital Times editor John Patrick Hunter took to the streets with a "petition," (which was actually the Declaration of Independence, along with portions of the Bill of Rights) and tried to get people to sign it. Only one in 112 did. The rest found it too subversive."

******************** I am absolutely anti-Bush. I am most decidedly more of a patriot and true American than he is. He's a scoundrel who is selling this country out to his bribers.
Remember, equating loyalty to a leader, instead of to the principles upon which this country was founded on was what got Nazi Germany in trouble in the 1930's. Don't be so blind, child.
