Yep, for example, just running a 20% ethanol mixture will work just fine on any car made, without a single modification or breakthrough in technology. It burns cleaner, produces more power, and raises the octane rating. With minor modifications a mixture in the 70%-80% range is practical and will support compression ratios up to around 13 to 1, with a huge increase in performance. This is something every car manufacturer on the planet had the ability to do 30 years ago, with nothing more required than to increase our capacity to produce alcohol.
