At this moment, and I do wait until I see the PPs again and post positions, I tend to look for Funny Cide in my exactas and triples.

He had a bang-up race and did the final eighth in 12.86 at mile and an eighth If he can stretch that final eighth, think he can take it all. And a gelding at that.

I wasn't looking for a good betting race since in my view Empire Maker is by far the best of the lot. Read something tonight that Empire Maker might have a workout bruise which, if he is withdrawn, will change the tote board enormously.

Someone mentioned Sir Cherokee who had a super stretch run and final quarter. But Arkansas is a strange track for times, particulary the fast final two furlong timings. Sir Cherokee timed in 11.85 for the final furlong. Wow.

Then there's Ten Most Wanted with a 110 Beyer in his last race, equal to Empire Maker's best.

Getting more interesting.
