... now that you mention it... look at the curves of this machine, it is a thing of beauty just on sight alone, then as you read [and most importantly feel] you will understand why people do what they do for fast cars.

The latest breed of Porsches, (certainly the GT2 and the Carrera GT) are without a doubt engineering marvels. These 2 sports cars, bred on the ultimate motor sports technology, bring the race track to your hands, and I am not talking about mere horse power, ---> any ol'e Corvette can do that -ggg... The way these beauties handle the roads defy the regular concept of "stability".

flying straight as an arrow at 120mph

For "flying", as you allude, you will have to take it a number of notches higher. Believe me when I tell you that at 120 mph in these cars, it is mere "crusing" speed, since you truly do not feel speed until you are in the neighborhood of 175 plus... well, all right, at 150 you start noticing the fence poles gaining speed, as you fly by them... -ggg

Now... speed in competition...

Take a look at what [Schumacher] brotherly love is... take a look at this movie clip... This is Micheal Schumacher attempting to pass brother Ralph (twice) for the lead at the San Marino Grand Prix a couple of weeks ago; Ralph would not have any of it and without the slight worry, shut the door on his brother's nose both times... eventually Michael took the lead after pit stops and went on to win...

I should mention that The Schumacher's mother passed away the night before the race, both brothers flew from San Marino to Cologne to be at her side on Saturday, (she was in a coma after a fall), they returned for Sunday's race. Michael and Ralf qualified on the front row (fastest times), Ralf took an early lead ahead of Michael and eventually the brothers finished first (Michael) and fourth (Ralf).

In this clip, Rubens Barrichello successfully passes Ralf Schumacher for third place at the same race... Ralf's tires were getting worn-out, still, he lost concentration for an instant allowing for the pass... As Ralf loses momentum after his mistake in the first corner, Rubens sling-shot pass Ralf in a quick wrist motion keeping control of the car and over-taking Ralf on the exit of the second corner of the chicane; Ralf having lost momentum, can do nothing but watch Rubens fly by him. Rubens finished third. --notice his head nod and fist, once he completes the pass... Rubens is all fire, yet one of the most gentle human beings.
