Cleaning out the house.
Bringing your living area into compliance with the new world of virus and toxins can be accomplished inexpensively using technology that has been in use within hospitals and laboratories for fifty years. Some firms which are now rushing to market as the SARS cure are just simply reproducing systems used on much larger scales within rooms which require sterilized air.

Take a close look at the attached page. I still am at times bowled over with the amount of usable information that the internet provides us with. Former seekers of intelligence previously had to exhaust time, effort and money to acquire current information or technologies. The progress of man was limited to academia or collections of companies or individuals within geographical pockets of intense discovery and exploration. The attached page shows the purification of air using readily available lamps and a simple mixing of air which circulates over the bulb which purifies the air. And purify means taking 99.995% of all particulates and disinfecting them and the air. Formerly we certainly would not have had the opportunity to find this information and a source for these bulbs without the internet. Now, its moments away on Google.com and knowledge is spread to the edge of where people live. Amazing.......

Considering what this chat site was founded upon, ( profit and take profit often ) I consider these manufacturers of tubes and fixtures as one of the opportunity afforded by the spread of more apocalypse. I have not researched who they are. I just do not have enough time to do that. Certainly one of you on the site must have a good idea who they may be.

In this day of insecurity even the thought of purified air in my bedroom or living room is very appealing. I imagine that most public areas such as restaurants and pubs and multitudes of department stores will be required by their insurance companies to have purified air. Which firms build the big lamps? How have their recent sales been? Any volume spikes?

Can you imagine, how much anxiety and stress an ordinary cold or flu gives people now? I find myself in line at the grocery store with my ears tuning in to the noises and sounds of the store. The moment I hear a cough or sneeze my ears tune into the source and my feet seem to turn away at the same time. I sneezed today close to the produce section. Actually, ironically, I was next to the oranges and their natural healing Vitamin C. I looked around to see if anyone noticed. I can tell whether my sneezes are from a cold after all these years and knew it was just a dustball landing in my nose that caused this one. I turned to my right and noticed a concerned look on 2 or 3 customers. Living so far out on the edge of population I thought that certainly SARS did not worry many here. The looks on those faces showed how much a forced feeding of news lately presented to the general population has shaped a knot of fear into our guts.

Knowing that in the confines of my own space I could live reasonably certain that no SARS viruses could exist here, except for those that I allow in gives me a pause of comfort.

Then I realize that just last evening I swept out my entry porch on my cottage. It is a rite of spring for me to sweep the small wooden porch each evening upon arriving home. During the winter it is usually dark and very cold by the time I climb up the hill to my home and I hardly ever stop to sweep off the porch when reaching here. Cold and Dark is not my favorite physical space.

Well. Last night I did my spring sweeping. Around the front door was a tight little collection of mouse feces from the deer mice that live in the sage meadows off to the north, south and east of my cottage. My house is sealed well enough to keep the small mice out and after various battles in claiming my territory from the wild and its creatures I have a relatively isolated living space without the scurry of mice.

I have worn out many slap traps at some great mouse hunts I have sponsored.

Back to the point.

Deer mice? Hanta Virus? Seems to be a connection here. Anyone notice that?

Hanta has taken a few locals. Two years ago a rancher at the bottom of the hill that I exist on came down with Hanta. Come to find out he had visited his girlfriend down around Durango, Co. prior to him dying from the disease. Must have been two to three weeks before he came down ill. They never were able to fully determine where he was exposed. Maybe around the four corners area or here in the high country of Colorado. Hanta infects mainly around the desert area of Southwestern, Co. There have been discovery of the virus locally as well.

No one ever talks about it. No one slows down there day or makes any change in there schedule or plans around areas where the virus exists. We just live with it. Around it. In it. I sweep.

No mask.

No fear.

Not a thought for it.

I find myself wishing to hear this message spoken on the nightly news.

" Virus was found today! No one worried! Everyone prepared! Reports of people helping their neighbors! More at Ten! "

Nope. Just more fear............
