B: New CEO sought for Villa Maria
Apr 30, 2003 (Food Industry Week (NZ) - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The largest
privately-owned wine company in New Zealand, Villa Maria, is seeking a new CEO.
The search is being conducted internationally, according to the firm's founder
and managing director, George Fistonich. The company is also spending $NZ30m on
a winery on the Ihumatao Peninsula, in Mangere, Auckland. Villa Maria also owns
wineries in Hawkes Bay and at Marlborough, on the South Island. Fistonich will
become the company's new chairman, once the new CEO is selected.
