I do agree with Cary that many Palestinians are, and have been, committed to the destruction of Israel. That is quite overt and was part of the PLO's charter. Perhaps that may account for the bombings? Don't you see that destruction of Israel is compatible with bombing of civilians. Indeed, that is why Arafat could not accept Barak's offer. He stated that it would be his death sentence. Altho it is now a chicken-and-egg, terrorists love terrorism, which means killing innnocents. fred
