I agree with Mr Weiner and believe he will win his bet. These Blogs are truly about the end of hegemony over issues important to real people. These Blogs will become the momentum behind an emerging 3rd party movement that will sweep the left into the dustbin of history. Blogging is a bottom up movement, where framed debate is taken apart bit by bit until essence can be discovered. What folks are discovering when finding essence is that much of the media is slanted, planned and controlled to coordinate the macro views of the entrenched movement. This is bad News for those parties whose sensory organs are all about sophistry, by which top down rhetoric is conveyed as fact and used to sustain talking points; as opposed to ascertainment of views, facts and eventually building momentum to discover new truths.
