France wants Russia involved in European defence One of the guests on Charlie Rose (I forget who) also said that it was a general opinion among the French elite that they should look to Russia as a protector. My own reaction: have you guys gone nuts? If you don't like the price America exacts, just try and see what the Russian price will be.
