Luc, from Newmont's annual report- for the calendar year 2002 NEM stock price was up 52% ( 02 yr end close at 29.03) while the S&P was down 22% in 2002. NEM stock was the third best performer on the S&P in 2002. Today NEM is $27 and change. Mike
