We never read about the benefits of the greenhouse effect, just the costs. That's suggestive of bias. We don't see them cheering increased plant growth or a nicer climate for New Zealand and that huge cold zone across Russia, China, Alaska, Canada, and Europe.

One of my first comments here in this discussion was "the range is from beneficial temperature increases to extremely dangerous increases". Most climate change studies seem to figure a net benefit for moderate amounts of warming, but it depends what they include and how they weight it.
