Regarding the NC vs. (Net)PC debate, here some
excerpts from the National/Cyrix merger, on computers
in the x86 compatible market.

"The companies said that they plan to develop new computer
chip technology aimed at the low-cost personal computer - the
sub-$500 market - and the information-appliance markets"

"We have now put into place all of the pieces and building
blocks necessary to put a complete PC system on a chip ... Now
it is truly possible to enable computing and the information
age to reach the masses," said National Semi chief executive
Brian Halla.

The choice facing the end-user: buy a sub-$500 NC, incompatible
with all existing PC software, or a sub-$500 PC, which can
do exactly the same AND run all off-the-shelf stuff.

I'd say Corel should put its efforts in its office for Windows.
