I can't think of any cases off hand where people who have been defrauded were forced into participation in some enterprise through the use of deadly force. Since when was voluntarily entering into some sort of business arrangement based upon the word of a contra-party justification for being cheated?

Once again there will be no criminal proceedings, so the record will show no proof of any crime, and most of those who gained handsomely from participation in the scam will not even be tarnished. Only a tiny fraction of those harmed by the activity will have any means of redress because their link to the perpetrators is indirect.

Most people were guided into market participation not by guns to heads, but by changes orchestrated by the professional financial community to promote the capture of personal wealth, such as it is, from people who have worked hard and productively making real things and providing useful services. How anyone can be proud of taking that wealth from working people through devious means is beyond my comprehension.
