William,
I have been following it closely but I think they are too expensive on a P/S basis although they have a ton of cash. I also heard but am not sure that ASCL requires the use of a seperate DB to move data into on like a preliminary basis. Not sure. The old Ardent guys are supposed to be pretty good managers... I do believe, since I used to sort of work in the industry, that INFA is the clear and away leader although with BOBJ and their recent acquisition and ASCL, EMBT and a few others the space is getting a little more crowded than it used to be. It also bothers me that they are not increasing sales a bit more but I think it's just a matter of time. If you have noticed INFA has also been continually increasing their R&D expenditures over the last 3-4 quarters. I have been gradually increasing my position
