I'm still trying to learn how the different types of software fit in to the protection scheme.
After some initial problems getting setup, I've found that ZoneAlarm PRO keeps the popups to a minimum. For sites that I trust, I can allow cookies on various levels. I'm not sure whether I should use Ad-Aware or other stuff.

Right now I run NAV 2003 and Zone Alarm. I'd add more but I hate to have to go through all the setup problems one usually has with new software. I probably wasted a couple of days setting up ZoneAlarm and getting it to the point that I knew how to use its features and why it was interfering with other programs that I run.
