gst, more propaganda. my mom told me every house in baghdad was given weapons and would fight the americans to the death. they even put up some woman who said, "i din't like saddam, but i will fight the evil invaders" as though that proved the point. yeah, right. rotflmao! i saw kisses... and signs telling the war protester "wankers" to "go home." did ya miss that direct from baghdad? "Many residents of Falluja, a conservative Sunni Muslim city of about 270,000 people, said they would turn their anger into revenge attacks against the U.S. soldiers who have killed at least 15 people at demonstrations this week." poor sunnis. right? i'm supposed to feel they have any credibility when they sat by and allowed the butcher to kill, torture and maim for decades? NOT! there is a new order now. they are just mad b/c they aren't on top of the pecking the order now. kinda like SS families b*ing about the overthrow of hitler. would you cite the SS the same way you've cited these people? btw, i think you hit the nail on the head. many folks calling themslves "war protesters" are merely concerned their own personal safety has been put in jeopardy. the enslavement of 23 million people, 100s of thousands of starving children at the hands of saddam and tens of thousands of murders and tortures is JUST FINE WITH THEM... as long as they "feel" like iraqis aren't mad at them. imho, that view is so greedy and self centered i'm disgusted. in order to free 23 million people from a tyrant, i'll take the 0.000001% increase in risk that these selfish folks ASSUME exists. no problem. i'm not convinced it does. talk is cheap. ask baghdad bob.
