Fyi, here's a site estimating the max. number of civilians killed in Iraq. It stands at approximately 2,700. An incredibly low level given the extent of the combat. - iraqbodycount.org

It's definitely a tradedy that people lost their lives but when seen in the larger context, tens (hundreds?) of thousands of Iraqis will have survived Saddam's murderous regime.
