"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." --Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

Jerrel,

You would have fit right in in Germany in 1936. In your Brown Shirt, you would have been at the Krystallnacht, burning out the Jews. You would have been at the book burnings, fighting the faculties and the thoughtful members of society. You would have been at the rallies, feeling the excitement of being part of a vicious and deluded crowd of xenophobes. You would proudly wear your jackboots, and kick decent people in the teeth, just as you try to do here on this thread.

But you will never truly understand what it means to be a patriot. Your viciousness is unbecoming for a civilized society. You are a mere cartoon character, a two dimensional boor and no patriot. The Founding Fathers feared that men like you, part of an uneducated and surly mob, might some day come to damage the United States. That day seems to be upon us.
