What hasn't the military lied about? They lied about this being a "liberation". It clearly is an imposed occupation. Ray: No, it's not. And I think you're smart enough to know that. From what I've seen, there are a lot more Iraqis happy to see us there than not. If you see this as an "imposed occupation," I hope you apply the same metric to troops remaining behind after conflicts under previous administrations: Bosnia, Kosovo, and Somalia. How long did US troops remain in an "imposed occupation" after the guns were silent? And would your answer be different if someone other than Mr Bush was in the White House?
