Do you mean b>conflicts like those presented by a "democratic" France? Or were you thinking of something more along the lines of the conflicts we have with a "democratic" Philippines? I was thinking of something a bit more specific. If it becomes clear that democracy in Iraq will lead to an Iraqi government that is not in accord with our interests, will we retain our commitment to democracy or put our interests first?
