I guess I don't agree.
The loss of a single American soldier is not a feel good. The loss of hundreds is a tragedy to me.

Yet some things are worth fighting for. The greater tragedy is to allow our enemies unfettered access to continue to kill us by the thousands.

Like you...I am sure...I too mourn the Iraqi soldiers who died for a cause they did not want to fight for but were forced too.
On the other hand I am thrilled that we disposed of so many Taliban, Al Qaeda, and Iraqi terrorists over the past year.
