"Extremism has nothing to do with corruption." Not true. Sometimes they are not related and sometimes they are. In the case of Arafat you have the melding of the two. In my books, if you are a terrorist you are an extremist, if you are in a position of power and only dole out power and favors to cronies you are corrupt. Arafat fits the bill to a T.
