Andy, that explains it!! your a lawyer!

i really don't have a beef with lawyers but most lawyers that i know shouldn't necessarily exercise their accounting knowledge, however, yours does seem to be better than most.

could you please fill out your profile sheet so that SI readers will have an idea as to your credentials, style etc.

if you have a beef about institutional brokers (with the fact that you are a securities lawyer) you should know that these guys are nothing more than Wall Street securities pushers, however, they are useful to obtain another viewpoint. my motive for contacting brian harvey was to see if the story i got from XICOR's management was the same thing as what the street was saying. my feel from b.harvey was that xicor was well received when they did their NYC trip in may, however, it has been posted on this thread that Raphael's style did not neccesarily excite the institutional players since Raphael is pretty conservative.

the reality of XICOR's fate is that a significant amount of money that was flowing into aggressive growth funds has slowed dramatically and more recently we have started to see redemptions. this is not good for XICOR and similar type stocks since this money is now finding its way to the larger cap stocks for safety and it could be a while before we see interest in the micro-cap stocks.

regards

blaine
