hindsight is 20-20, DU. What you *knew* back then and what you *hoped* were probably synonymous. You *knew* the chipsets wouldn't fit? C'mon, give me a break - the cards were designed around ROK's specs for the K56 chips - pre-existing cards weren't going to be used!

Volume production delayed until summer? You didn't know that in Nov. or Jan. because ROK didn't know it; there was a redesign decision made and I doubt that you were in that meeting, anymore thanyou were when LU & ROK agreed to revamp designs to be compatible.

I knew about the heat problem before you did, except that I knew/know it isn't as significant as you make it out to be in terms of sales or anything else - users adapt to the situation.

Your pipeline (pun intended) into Ascend or ROK is no better than mine, which is to say it's non-existent. We may both parrot the company line, different companies though they may be.

But neither of us is going to convince the other much less anyone else so I'll let it be.
