Changes the landscape how? Loral is still 'in' the G* equation. Granted as PCSTEL has offered, without the strangle hold BLS once enjoyed. see post on G* thread. I dont fault Bernie for his attempt to see his vision through, I fault him for being inflexible in that attempt. After I* failed, they should have dropped the price to fill up the G* constellation and then increased the prices to match the market. As it has been gone over many times before, they just sat there burning all our money - without adjusting the 'plan'. As for Loral, they mortgaged the farm to plant the seed. Looks like the payments will be due before they can harvest the crop. It will be tight and BLS may be able to pull it out, but not before many will have been significantly damaged. But, on the 'you never know' front, at least Bernie has moved the shareholders' meeting out of the Essex hotel. I would find it a slight positive to learn he did that on his own and was not forced to make the move. The venue selection was another example of how out of touch he was. Jeff Vayda
