The significance of "[c]ommon sense" implies exactly "what everyone knows at a given point in time". I didn't ask about the "significance" of common sense; I asked you what you think the nature of the relationship between what everyone thinks - which hereafter I'll refer to as "conventional wisdom" - and what common sense is or seems to be. If you want to spend the next fifteen posts debating this issue common sense dictates I should bid you "au revoir". I don't want to, but you don't seem to have an answer - so it might take that long. And while you're certainly free to extricate yourself, another common sensical axiom might dictate that you not make posts like this...
