As a base for understanding, the essay I posted seemed to be more clear than anything I'd seen on the difference in the political parties as they exist today. At least to me. I believe that is why tempers flare on the outside. We either become like much of Europe...(i.e. Germany- cradle to grave care...and very high taxes which stiffle incentive to earn/do more)...or we try to retain the good parts of what made America great in the first place.

One can only offer the information...it is up to the potential reader to decide if it was worth their time to read it or not, or to even think about it.

Perhaps some of the folks you banned in the beginning only could use someone elses' statements, but never provide a reason why *they* thought the statement to be valid, or worth someones time to read it.

Your board, and FL's are both very worthwhile....IMO. I am interested in whatever anyone here decides to post. I don't always agree with John, but I do find his posts worthwhile....he always makes me think about what I think and why. Most of the people who post here and on FADG have MANY other things they could be doing (and truth be known, probably should be doing -g-) but I view the time I spend here as a learning exercise....

I honestly believe everyone else here views it the same way, or we wouldn't bother.
