UncleWest, American is the land of the euphemism and sleight of phrase. I'm just joining in. Getting with the programme. Oooops, program. With the USA ruling the world, with everyone with US, not against us, we'd better toe the line. Or else!!

I'm reminded of Stan Freberg, Modestly Presents, The United States of America!! amazon.com A 'cleansed' song; "Elderly person river, that elderly person river, s/he must know sumpin'... something, but don't....doesn't say nuttin'.....anything, that elderly person river, s/he just goes rollin'... rolling, along".

Okay, I think I've thrown in a bit of gender correction too, which wasn't in the original version. But you know what I mean. In the USA you can't call a spade a spade. They are shovels or coloured or negroes. No, Black. No, it's African-Americans [even if they are actually the Ambassador from Niger - which is not a racist word, it's a country]. No, hang on - oh man, now I'm for it.... I blame the wine. Okay Faultline, guilty of racism as charged....
