Sure, i am basing it on historical precedent, and the huge bull rallies in bear markets that we have seen in the past. We may even set new highs in the DOW, but certainly not in the NAS. I am sensing speculative excesses coming into the market already, as value is likely to be dumped for growth and tech. some tech funds are up over 20% ytd, some high yield funds are up the same. too many people are way too bullish, thinking they have to "make up" for the big losses they've suffered, only likely to be zapped again.
should be fun for a trader who swings both ways, eh.
