It'll be interesting to see what US forces stay behind. Will it be the "Iron Horse" task force? That would be a good message to send to Syria. 4th ID could probably take on Syria by itself. Imo looks like 3rd ID comes home, hopefully to evolve (quickly, I hope) into a force like 4th ID and incorporate the lessons learned during the Iraq campaign. The 101st and 82nd look also to come home for R&R and refit along with a review of helicopter doctrine. I bet I MEF comes home as well, imo this will be where the most review takes place. If I am not mistaken, their commander was relieved of his command in the midst of the fighting. It'll be interesting to see how Marine doctrine changes, if at all. Warlords and discontents will have to re-write all their signs and grafitti. ROFL! Yeah - "It's all about mustard!" :o}
