I MEF comes home as well, imo this will be where the most review takes place. If I am not mistaken, their commander was relieved of his command in the midst of the fighting. It'll be interesting to see how Marine doctrine changes, if at all.

I finally read the story on that relief. It was a Regimental Commander relieved by the MEF General. He was supposed to draw fire from the Iraqi tube arty by pushing his guys further into the Iraqi arty fan. Basically using our guys as bait. He did not push them as far and as fast as the MEF guy wanted, and lost his command for it. I could make a case to relieve the MEF General over this. I hope to hear how this plays out.
