Its MY opinion that if we had a more robust stock market everything else would take care of itself.

I completely agree. I believe at least some of the capex problem is related to the stock market... CFOs are watching the stock market which (until a few weeks ago) was predicting a gloom and doom future.

My feeling is that Bush dividend tax cut plan was always targeted at one thing: getting the mkts back up. But there is more to rising mkts than just unlocking a bunch of cash.
